Basher has recovered the Telegram handle @basheragency. It is no longer in the hands of the impersonator described below.
Nothing agreed through that account while it was impersonating us is binding, and Basher will not act on it. If it wrote to you, write to admin@basher.agency. Our Telegram account remains @basheragencyofficial, listed below with the rest of the channels Basher operates.
Our official channels
These four accounts are the only social channels Basher Agency operates. Our Telegram is the account @basheragencyofficial. Anything else is not us.

What happened
Since July 2026 we have been tracking accounts that impersonate Basher Agency in order to defraud content creators. The most damaging one was a Telegram user account with the handle @basheragency — our name, without the word official. It carried our logo, our brand colour and a version of our slogan. That handle is now back with Basher, but the case is documented here because the people it contacted deserve a public record of it.
It approached creators and streamers with what looked like a real campaign brief from Basher. In the case we documented in full, a creator in Germany was offered €6,700 for five Instagram stories promoting an online casino. The offer arrived as a PDF insertion order that already carried an image of our CEO's signature — a signature the sender had copied, not obtained. The creator did the right thing: instead of publishing, they wrote to contact@basher.agency to check. Nothing was posted and no money changed hands.
The casino in that brief, slotshopper57.com, is not a Basher client and never has been. It is licensed in Anjouan and holds no German gambling licence, so the campaign the creator was being asked to run would have broken German advertising law — with our name on it.

Do not sign anything, do not post anything, and do not send money or personal documents. Nothing that account promised you is real, and Basher will not honour it.

The proof: our account and the impersonator, side by side

Same name, same monogram — with a dollar coin added, and a bio that named no Basher email and no website. This is how the handle looked while the impersonator held it; Basher has since recovered it.
🚫 Nothing that chat promised you is real
If that account wrote to you while it was impersonating us, nothing it agreed with you binds Basher. Do not act on its brief, do not publish anything for it and do not send money or personal documents on the strength of it.
We keep the screenshot published so you can recognise what you were shown, and so the record of the case stays verifiable.
Four things to look at in those two images
Any one of them is enough to tell them apart.

@basheragencyofficial, spelled out in the footer of every page on this site. Read the handle you were written from character by character and compare it with that list — a copy works by looking almost right at a glance. - 02The bio. Ours names
contact@basher.agencyandwww.basher.agency. Theirs names no email and no website, because it cannot use ours. - 03The profile picture. They copied our monogram and added a dollar coin to it. A stolen logo is easy; our exact brand asset on our own domain is not.
- 04Where you found the link. Every account we operate is listed in the footer of every page on
basher.agency, in this site's structured data and in ourllms.txt. If a handle is not there, it is not ours — whatever badge, logo or company address it shows you.

Three things Basher never does
These do not change, for any campaign, in any country, with any person.
We only write from @basher.agency
Every real message comes from an address ending in @basher.agency — never Gmail, Outlook or a look-alike domain. Our domain is configured to reject anyone trying to send email in its name.
We never ask you for money
No fee, no deposit, no tax, no "verification" payment, no crypto transfer. Basher pays creators; creators never pay Basher to be selected.
We never ask for passwords or codes
We will never request your account passwords, two-factor codes, wallet keys or seed phrases. Not for onboarding, not for payment, not ever.
How to check an offer in 60 seconds
- Read the handle character by character and check it against the official channels listed above. Copies work by looking almost right at a glance.
- Look up the sender's email on our verify page. basher.agency/verify lists every person authorised to contact you and their real address. Not on the list, not from Basher.
- Check how the contract arrived. Real Basher contracts are sent for signature through Zoho Sign. A PDF attachment that already carries a signature was not issued by us.
- Ask us directly, through a channel you found yourself. Write to
contact@basher.agency— typed by you, not copied from their message.
Other impersonation we are aware of
The Telegram account is the most active case, but not the only one. So that you can recognise them:
Fake Instagram "Affiliate Managers"
Since late July 2026, accounts posing as Basher affiliate managers have been contacting creators, using our website address in their bio to look official. Our only Instagram is @basher.agency.
Look-alike domains
Our only domain is basher.agency. Other domains built on our name have been used to redirect visitors to gambling sites; we report them as we find them. A page like this one on any other domain is not ours.
Forged documents
Fake insertion orders reuse our real company details — including our registered address — to pass a quick check. Correct paperwork is not proof of a real sender; the channel it came through is.
Questions we are getting
What happened with the @basheragency handle on Telegram?
Between July and September 2026 it was held by an impersonator, and we reported it to Telegram for impersonation and fraud. Basher recovered the handle in September 2026. Basher Agency's Telegram account is @basheragencyofficial, and the full list of channels we operate is published in the footer of every page on this site.
I already signed a contract from that account. What now?
Write to admin@basher.agency with the document and the conversation. That contract does not bind you to Basher and Basher will not act on it. If you published anything, tell us — we will confirm in writing that the campaign was not ours, which is what a platform or a regulator will ask you for.
I sent them money or personal documents.
Report it to your local police or fraud authority and to your bank or payment provider straight away, and then send us what you have at admin@basher.agency. We cannot recover payments made to a third party, but our case file supports yours.
A verified badge or the right logo — doesn't that prove it?
No. A profile picture, a copied logo, a badge or a company address inside a PDF can all be faked or borrowed. The only checks that hold are the handle spelled out in full against the official list on this site, and the sender's email address against our verify page.
How do real Basher collaborations start?
A named person writes from an address ending in @basher.agency and appears on our verify page. The brief names the operator and its licence in your market. The contract arrives for signature through Zoho Sign. Payment terms are in the contract, and you are never asked to pay anything first.
Report an account impersonating us
Every report you send us goes into the takedown file. It genuinely speeds this up.
